2020

Chapel Creek Cottages utilizes the pocket neighborhood model of home building to foster neighborly interaction and build a sense of community. The identity mark was inspired by active community engagement and a sense of movement toward a central meeting place. Comprised of organic shapes that all point inward, the mark is friendly and fluid and the surrounding negative space feels activating and inviting.

An aperture is a space through which light passes. Aperture Crested Butte, a private residential neighborhood, boasts magnificent views up Paradise Divide and down the Gunnison Valley, and is ideally poised between two worlds — a community where residents can connect with the conveniences and community of Crested Butte, and the natural landscapes extending from their own backyards.
